FACT: this whole blog, this whole PROJECT, is apparently a thinly veiled excuse for me to take narcissistic self-portraits, all day, every day. apparently.

HI! MY NAME IS ELENA! I AM
a 22-year-old Creative Writing + Drama student at the University of Alberta. During the past two summers, I've worked as a counselor at the University of Virginia's Young Writers Workshop, teaching both Poetry and Scriptwriting.

As a result, there are a number of people I love a lot who live very, very far away from me. 365 WAYS, inspired by project365, is a means of keeping anyone interested up-to-date on what's going on in my life, but also gives me the opportunity to document the year for myself through writing + photo entries.

HERE ARE SOME THINGS I LIKE:
climbing trees & trading mixes. riding bikes. punching the air. mojitos. writing. queer spaces. the word "crawdad". looking both ways before i cross the street.

HERE ARE SOME THINGS I DO NOT LIKE:
no sleep. tummy grumbles. faceplants. sink holes. opening presents in front of people.
